BUSINESS MODEL
STOK Group’s business model is based on
delivering integrated packaging solutions
developed with a focus on three primary
parameters: quality, price, and increased
sustainability. This includes responsible
material choices and ef昀椀cient use within the
customer’s value chain. The company provides
pragmatic and technical advice on the
selection of materials and packaging products,
as well as on how packaging can be used
optimally in thecustomer’s packing and
logistics processes to support ef昀椀cient
operations, high quality, and stability.
The advisory services are based on more than
40 years of experience and cover customers
across industries and company sizes, ranging
from smaller e‑commerce businesses to
larger industrial and logistics operations.
STOK provides technical sparring, documented
performance, and continuous optimization. A
central element of the business model is the
delivery of solutions with a focus on reducing
the climate footprint, including
recommendations intended to reduce CO₂
emissions and minimize packaging
consumption.
The business model is supported by a broad
operational setup comprising production
facilities, warehouses, sales of昀椀ces, and
technical competences across Denmark,
Norway, Iceland, Greenland, and Germany. The
combination of local presence, a broad product
portfolio, and specialized advisory services
enables STOK to deliver comprehensive
solutions addressing functionality, 昀椀nancial
considerations, regulatory requirements, and
sustainability aspects in an integrated manner.
Value Chain
STOK Group operates primarily as a
trading and advisory company within
packaging solutions, sourcing products and
materials from a broad international supplier
base and delivering these solutions to
customers across multiple industries. As a
result, the Group’s most signi昀椀cant ESG
in昀氀uence is concentrated upstream and
downstream in the value chain, rather than in
own operations.
“
If we can support our customers in their
sustainability efforts, it gives us a real
competitive advantage. It is not just a
product ‑ it is a service.

Quality Engineer, BEWI Norway

From an ESG perspective, STOK’s impact is
therefore primarily exercised through
responsible procurement, supplier dialogue,
and professional advisory services that
support customers in making informed
decisions on material choices, packaging
design, and use. This understanding of the
value chain forms a key premise for the
Group’s business strategy, growth strategy,
and approach to sustainability, as described in
the following sections.
