BUSINESS STRATEGY
AND GROWTH STRATEGY
STOK Group’s business strategy is based on a
focused buy‑and‑build approach, where
acquisitions, integration, and a shared direction
support the Group’s ambition to develop into a
leading Nordic business within packaging
solutions. With new owners from 2024, the
Group has been provided with additional
capacity, strategic focus, and 昀椀nancial strength,
creating a solid foundation for accelerating
growth and strengthening commercial discipline
across the organization.
The strategy builds on many years of growth
achieved through both organic development
and a series of strategic acquisitions that have
signi昀椀cantly expanded STOK’s geographical
presence and areas of competence.
“
When acquiring companies, the focus is
not on full standardization from day one,
but on gradually integrating our new
aqusitions into the Group’s shared
framework and ESG maturity level over a
de昀椀ned period of time.
These acquisitions have continuously strengthened
the product range, production capacity, and
technical advisory services.
The buy‑and‑build strategy currently focuses on
both consolidation and development. Newly
acquired companies are integrated into a single
group structure with a shared direction, standards,
and governance, enabling strengths and
competences to be shared across entities. The
objective is to establish a strong Nordic platform
operating according to common principles for
quality, advisory services, compliance, and
sustainability. This platform supports scale within
procurement, distribution, and customer service.
Buy‑and‑build is highlighted as a key strategic track
within STOK Group’s ESG report structure.
This approach is intended to support long‑term
growth, enhanced competitiveness, and a more
robust organization, where market expansion is
combined with the professionalization of processes
and a shared organizational structure. At the same
time, the strategy supports the Group’s ambition to
develop into a leading Nordic center for responsible
packaging solutions, with integrity, professional
expertise, and commercial discipline as key drivers.

“
Compliance is a minimum requirement, a
licence to play. Our ambition is to go beyond
compliance and use ESG as a competitive
parameter by integrating sustainability into
how we run the business.

“
When a company grows through acquisitions,
creating a shared foundation is essential, even
when the organisation is made up of many
different entities with their own histories.
