COMPANY COMITMENT
The 0-Mission
Electricity consumption constitutes a signi昀椀cant share of STOK’s Scope 2 emissions. For this reason,
STOK has chosen to participate in The 0‑Mission initiative, which supports the development of new,
privately 昀椀nanced solar energy parks in Denmark. The initiative is designed to enable additional
renewable energy capacity to be built without reliance on government subsidies and thereby
contribute to the ongoing transformation of the electricity system.
As part of this engagement, STOK is af昀椀liated with a solar park located near Vandel, which matches
the electricity consumption of STOK Emballage. From 2026, the collaboration will transition to a new
solar park in Norddjurs Municipality. The park is fully documented through a life cycle assessment
(LCA),
providing transparency regarding its climate footprint across the value chain. The development of the
park also incorporates biodiversity considerations, including habitats supporting vegetation and
landscape screening.
The calculations and climate equivalency 昀椀gures related to the solar parks are prepared by The
0‑Mission initiative and are based on publicly available emission factors and project speci昀椀c
documentation. As part of STOK’s buy and build strategy in Denmark, it has been decided that newly
acquired Danish entities should, where possible, be included in The 0‑Mission initiative as part of the
onboarding and integration process. This approach is intended to support a consistent handling of
electricity related climate impacts across STOK’s Danish operations.
Ingerslev Å Solar Park
The solar park delivered its 昀椀rst kWh to the grid in June 2025.
The electricity production corresponds to the consumption of approx.
19,000 households.
Biodiversity
A beetle bank has
been established in
the park. It provides
shelter and nesting
places for insects
and ground-nesting
birds.

The park’s CO₂e
footprint is 26 g /
kWh. The CO₂e footprint of a coal-昀椀red
power plant is approx. 1,000 g /kWh.
Battery
A battery was
connected in spring
2026.
