PRODUCTS
AND THE GREEN TRANSISTION
STOK Group’s work with products and the green
transition includes both group‑wide initiatives and
local efforts within the individual companies. At
group level, the focus to date has been on
documentation, material selection, regulation, and
data foundations supporting the responsible
development of the overall product portfolio. At
the same time, individual companies contribute
with their own initiatives, including certi昀椀cations,
customer requirements, and data projects, which
serve as building blocks in the Group’s overall
environmental efforts.
Emballage.
The Group
provides shared
resources and
professional support to
other group companies that
independently assess whether
EcoVadis is relevant to them. Results
from EcoVadis for STOK Emballage form
part of the Group’s overall ESG baseline.
STOK Emballage, as the largest Danish entity,
works, among other things, with EUMOS testing,
food certi昀椀cation, FSC® certi昀椀cation,
customer-speci昀椀c documentation, and data
projects, while BEWI Norway, for example,
contributes experience from its two ISO
certi昀椀cations. These local initiatives are actively
applied in the development of shared group
practices.
In January 2025, STOK Emballage Denmark
hosted a customer event focusing on key
regulatory developments within the
packaging area.
The event included presentations and dialogue
on extended producer responsibility (EPR), the
EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and the
Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation
(PPWR).
Below, the speci昀椀c initiatives are described where
EUDR, FSC®, CO₂ calculations, ISO certi昀椀cations,
and producer responsibility is handled nationally
or at group level. At present, the EcoVadis
evaluation has been completed for STOK
The purpose was to support customers’
understanding of upcoming requirements and to
facilitate dialogue on how regulatory
developments affect packaging choices and
responsibilities.
