PRODUCTS
AND THE GREEN TRANSISTION
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) sets
requirements for certain commodities and
products placed on the EU market, stipulating that
they must not originate from land that has been
subject to deforestation after de昀椀ned cut-off dates.
In preparation for the EUDR requirements, STOK
Group has initiated a structured project focused on
clarifying scope, risk exposure, and organisational
readiness.
As part of the process, suppliers were segmented
based on a range of criteria, including import status,
HS codes and product categories, operator and
invoicing roles, SME status, and transition and
documentation readiness. The purpose of this
segmentation was to establish a data foundation to
support further risk assessment and
prioritisation within the EUDR work. In this context,
STOK Group engaged external advisory support in
several phases to support methodology
development and clari昀椀cation of scope.
From September to December 2025, STOK Group
carried out initial EUDR‑related activities, during
which relevant suppliers in Denmark and Norway
were included in a preliminary risk screening.
The work focused on establishing an overview of
relevant suppliers and product 昀氀ows and on
assessing the Group’s overall exposure in relation
to the requirements of the regulation. Scanlux
Flexibles (SLF) in Denmark was not included in this
initial analysis.
The EUDR work is primarily anchored within
Quality Assurance and Procurement functions. At
the same time, the activities contribute to STOK
Group’s broader ESG preparation by strengthening
the understanding of the value chain, data
requirements, and organisational readiness in
relation to upcoming regulatory requirements, as
well as customer and ESG‑related expectations.
