ESG RISKS
As part of strengthening the governance framework, STOK Group
has, from 2025 onwards, applied a more structured approach to the
identi昀椀cation, assessment, and follow-up of business- and
sustainability‑related risks. In this context, risk assessments are used as
a supporting tool within the Group’s overall risk management activities.
The use of risk assessments contributes to structuring and consolidating knowledge
about risks across the organisation and supports dialogue between management,
business areas, and central functions. Risk assessments are applied as a supplement to
other governance processes and support overview, transparency, and consistency in the work
with risk management.
Risk management is closely linked to STOK Group’s Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) and
the subsequent prioritization of material ESG topics in the VSME reporting. In this way, the risk
management approach supports compliance with applicable legislation and standards as well as
management decision‑making related to strategy, investments, and business development.
The application of risk assessments forms part of the ongoing development of governance with‑
in STOK Group, in line with the Group’s organisational development and buy‑and‑build strategy.
Risk management is regarded as a dynamic area that is further developed in response to changing
requirements, business priorities, and the continued maturation of the Group’s ESG work.
“
Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important
customer demand. It is not a question of whether it will
come - but when.
