ESG ONBOARDING OF
NEW ACQUISITIONS
STOK Group’s growth strategy is based on a buy‑and‑build approach, where acquisitions are used to
strengthen the Group’s position and competence across markets. This approach places increased
demands on governance and consistency across the Group. As new companies are integrated, increased
focus is therefore placed across core business areas on ensuring a structured onboarding process that
supports both operational activities and the Group’s governance framework. Onboarding is considered
an important element in the continued development of governance as the Group evolves.
ESG onboarding of new companies is based on a gradual integration process, whereby areas such as
management structure, risk management, compliance, and ESG‑related matters are incorporated as
companies become part of STOK Group. The focus is on establishing a shared understanding of roles,
responsibilities, and processes, while at the same time respecting local business models and existing
strengths.
As part of the governance work, a plan was established in 2025 to use the onboarding process to create
an overview of material risks, data readiness, and maturity levels in newly acquired companies. The
initiative is expected to be further developed in 2026 and, over time, to support risk management and
the prioritisation of relevant ESG topics within the Group’s VSME reporting.
The buy‑and‑build strategy places ongoing demands on governance and alignment across the Group.
STOK Group therefore works to strengthen shared principles, frameworks, and tools that can support a
more structured onboarding and integration of new companies. Cross‑group policies constitute an
important component of this work.

The development of a cross functional, strategic ESG program across STOK Group, initiated in
2025, is a key foundation for ensuring compliance while maintaining focus on relevant business
risks and opportunities.

“
Following the acquisition of Scan Lux Flexible in 2025, I had the opportunity to move into a Group
role, where my responsibility is to strengthen the focus on logistics, build a dedicated logistics
function, and support the integration of logistics as part of future acquisitions. It is both an exciting
and demanding role, where the task is to balance the well‑established STOK way of working with
a more structured and aligned setup across the Group.
