COSTUMER ANALYSIS ACROSS
STOK GROUP IN 2025
As part of the continued development of its
ESG work, STOK Group engaged in structured
dialogue with selected customers in January
and September 2025. The purpose was to gain
deeper insight into customer expectations and
needs related to ESG‑focused topics and
information across the Group. The purpose of
this dialogue has been to better understand
which ESG themes and types of data are
perceived as most relevant in customers’ own
processes, including procurement, risk
assessments and sustainability reporting.
Overall, the dialogue indicates that customers
place particular emphasis on climate‑ and
environment‑related topics, including
information on materials, recyclability and the
reduction of CO₂ emissions associated with
products and the value chain. Several customers
highlight the importance of packaging solutions
with a high share of recycled content, as well as
documentation that can support their own
climate targets and Scope 3 efforts.
Consequently, product‑related ESG data that
can be applied directly in customers’
assessments is considered especially relevant.
Building and further developing the underlying
data foundation to support such documentation
is an area where STOK Group is continuing to
focus its efforts.

In addition, the dialogue points to an expectation of
basic transparency in the supply chain,
including insight into supplier management,
responsible business conduct and the handling
of social risks in the value chain. Topics related
to working conditions and human rights among
suppliers are highlighted as areas where customers
expect suppliers to maintain a clear focus and be
able to document their approach.
The customer dialogue is used as an input to
STOK’s ongoing prioritization and development of
ESG data foundations and reporting practices. At
this stage, however, no speci昀椀c requirements for
de昀椀ned ESG data deliverables have been formally
established, and the dialogue is therefore
considered a supplement to applicable regulatory
requirements and internal assessments as STOK
Emballage continues to mature its ESG approach.
To ensure continued focus and effective
prioritisation of projects, initiatives and resources,
the insights from customer dialogue are supported
by a structured ESG roadmap developed by STOK
Group.
